Metal sheets, overlays and replacement
New warehouse roofing is usually coated steel in a trapezoidal profile, fixed to purlins through the crown of the sheet, with matching flashings at the ridge, eaves and verges. Where the existing deck is sound we can overlay rather than strip, which keeps the building weathertight while we work and cuts the time the interior is exposed.
Composite insulated panels are the other common choice when the building needs a higher U-value. We set out falls, detail the rooflights and close the cut edges so water cannot sit on bare steel. Gutters and downpipes are included in the same visit when they are the source of the leak you called us about.
